Thomas J. Byrnes, NP

Born and raised in Dover, Delaware, TJ attended the University of Delaware for his college education. After receiving his BA in biology with a chemistry minor, he went on to obtain his BSN and MSN as well. Once becoming a nurse practitioner he chose to take a position within a primary care fellowship. Within this fellowship he gained extensive knowledge in multiple areas and soon realized the impact pain management can have not only on a person’s injury, but their overall lifestyle and happiness. Using a multi-pronged approach to pain management, TJ uses all available resources to have them live their fullest lives.

When not in the office he enjoys being outside, rock climbing, and delaying the inevitable day his 2 sons surpass him mentally and physically.  He hopes this day will not come soon.
