Dr. Yasmin Elmhashab is certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

She received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and then completed her medical internship at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ. She returned to Philadelphia to complete her Anesthesiology and Pain management training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Elkhashab specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of multiple pain conditions, which include lower back pain resulting from degeneration of the spine, neck pain, joint pain and dysfunction, musculoskeletal pain/injuries, myofascial pain, chronic migraine, nerve pain (neuropathy, phantom limb pain), complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), and failed back surgery syndrome.

She enjoys interacting with patients and formulating an effective treatment plan that will restore her patients functionality. She uses a comprehensive approach, which includes physical therapy, lifestyle modification, medication management, and minimally-invasive spinal procedures (epidural injections, radio frequency ablation, nerve stimulation).
